Milada Dvořáková is about to get married to her business partner Dub, a gas station owner. When she catches him hugging his secretary, she breaks up with him. She sets up a rival company, ŽUB (Women at Gas Stations), and employs only single women. Dub also gets into the competitive fight...

The marriage recipes were simple at first glance and apparently very effective, judging by the punishments of those who secretly engaged in witchcraft alchemy. Even three hundred years ago, association with unclean forces and possession by the devil meant being sent to the stockade or sentenced to death by burning. This was exactly the fate that befell Magdalena, the parish cook, and Marta, the widow of a wigmaker. As witches, they were condemned to have their souls wander forever without consolation. Three hundred and thirteen years later, Magdalene and Martina's souls managed to "incarnate" into the bodies of two modern women.

Zazoo U is a school for the adventurous. Its students consist of Griz, a hoggish stubborn but good-hearted pig; Bully Wooly Mammoth, a gentle giant who loves to play the piano; and Slogo and Logan, two Eastern-European relatives who come from a carnival and bring their circus-antics into the school with them. And it's not just the students: Miss Devine is an extravagant bohemian teacher with a pet "rarf" (an unknown species); the science lecturer, Dr Russell, is a walrus; and the music teacher thinks of himself as the new Frank Sinatra and always sings a song. Much of the school's involves talent agents from outer space, invisible strings seen only through imagination, and most notably live-action kids who stampede around when the bell rings (woe betide anyone in their path). However, in spite of all these insane occurrences, there is always a sane moral at the center of the story that aids in instructing a lesson to the students as well as the viewer.
